Elie Rosales

Founder & Director

"I know how it feels to walk into a space where not everyone in it makes you feel like you belong. As an instructor, I’m committed to changing that by creating a community where every dancer feels included from the moment they step in."

For him, nothing compares to watching someone slowly grow into a confident dancer. He has a way of meeting people exactly where they are and guiding them forward with genuine support and patience. Elie encourages without ever making you feel pressured, and he creates a space where you feel seen and pushed in the best possible way. His structured approach gives every salsa class a sense of direction and purpose, which helps dancers understand where they are headed and how to get there. With Elie, you are not just picking up steps. You are finding your voice through movement and learning to trust it.

Yorlis Nunez

Instructor

"One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is how important it is to stay humble. We all start out as beginners, and because of that, being kind and patient with yourself and others really matters. When we lift each other up and help each other grow, we create the kind of positive impact that stays with people."

LATIN SOCIAL DANCER

Years Dancing: 9 Years
Years in Latin Dance Community: 5 Years

Yorlis was born in the Dominican Republic and grew up surrounded by music, which naturally led him into the world of dance. He has an infectious personality that people notice right away, and he brings a special kind of authentic and welcoming energy into the studio. As an instructor, he cares about much more than just teaching dance moves. He wants his students to really understand timing and feel at ease when it comes to moving with the music. He brings patience to every class and truly believes in the power of kindness and support. With Yorlis, as a student you won't just learn how to dance, you'll learn how to take up space in an environment where every single person feels respected and lifted up.

Angelina Pizzutiello

Instructor

"In my dance journey, I know what it feels like to be overlooked or pushed aside. Those experiences in life taught me how important it is to create a space where people are genuinely seen. I'm committed to building an environment where every dancer gets the chance to grow and feel valued at their own pace. Everyone deserves to shine. "

PERFORMER

Years Dancing: 15 Years
Years Teaching: 2 Years
Years in Latin Dance Community: 10 Years

Angelina is hands-down ORGUYO’s number one triple threat. Her love for dance goes far beyond salsa. With technical training in ballet, jazz, and many other styles, she has also trained in singing and acting. She pours all of that experience into her performances, which makes her truly captivating to watch. As a person, she is quirky, fun, and unapologetically herself, and that authenticity is a huge part of what makes her stand out.

When it comes to being an instructor, Angelina’s heart is in the growth of her students. She teaches because she genuinely loves watching each dancer’s journey unfold. Nothing makes her happier than seeing someone discover their confidence and their voice through movement. Her classes are warm, playful, and supportive, and she encourages all her students to show up as themselves, take risks, and most importantly, trust the process.
